This is our 12 week scan picture. I was a nervous wreck beforehand, convinced that there would be nothing on the screen. Wayne couldn't believe how baby-like it looked - I think he was expecting a blob. But we could see our little bean flipping around and waving. I think that was the moment it all became real - we were going to have a baby!

Here's the pregnancy test that confirmed I was going to be a mummy. You have to look very carefully to see that there's a cross! I didn't really have any symptoms and didn't think we'd been successful that month. It was the last weekend of the summer holidays and I was going back to school on the Monday. Wayne was away all day working, so I was all alone and home and for some reason, couldn't resist testing. I really couldn't believe my eyes...I was 3 weeks and 3 days pregnant!
